What's wrong with musk lifesavers? They've been like my favourite flavour my whole life. Maybe it is really just an Aussie thing, but I still don't see why you americans think of them as gross....

I mean, seriously, if you tried them you would like them - they're just sweet lollies. We have a few types of musk flavoured lollies here in fact.

And the sausages? The only thing wrong with them is the purple appearance...

The MOST FOUL thing I ever put in my mouth was Smoked Moth Chrysalis -- large, slimey, moth chrysalises with the disgusting flavor of artifical smoke. Recall Tom Hanks in "Big" when he ate the caviar? That was me, trying to eradicate that foul flavor from my tongue. The texture was like solidified pus. Why did I do it? I am one of seven children and an amateur entomologist. That made me both fascinated by the concept of bugs as food and willing to take a double-dog dare. Second most foul food was Durian, named King of Fruit by Indonesians. It smelled like hell and tasted like rotting onions. Those Indonesians must be hard up for sweets.

Glad I wasn't at that party. Sick.

Yes hello there!Islamic people did eat alot of different types of foods and as i must say bugs..which is really nastey.Well anyways i I'm doing a project on iceland and i wil doing it for the rest of my freshmen year but i would love to get more information......specailly things that i will defintaly need for my world geography project!

My wife and I were once served (as a result of my, shall we say, limited grasp of the German language) a delicacy in the Düsseldorf area: shredded raw pork on a bun.

I've been in China and S Korea for a while. Had to at least TRY a few things:

China:
sheep lung
hatched eggs (steamed live the day before hatching, served on a stick) tastes like .... chicken and the feathers aren't dried yet.
dog (accidentally)
cat (ordered rabbit soup but when i reassembled the head...)
roast nestling crow (i think). bite-sized and tasty; only problem was when the head ruptured between my molars.

korea: bondegi a.k.a silkworm pupae. one only. like creamed corn in a small bag, with a nasty aftertaste.

haven't been able to try pig intensines

or ddong-duedji (pig, fed entirely on human feces.) yuck factor there.

in the interest of cultural humility, here are some things that i eat regularly that orientals think are RE volting.

bleu cheese
dill pickles
avocado-and-cream cheese sandwiches on pumpernickel
sour cream
sauerkraut (my home-made fermented stuff, judged "arien")

it's all cultural differences

Once on a trip to Uruguay I was offered "chinchulines", which are the large intestines of a cow WITH ITS CONTENTS, barbecued, and served hot, together with "asado", which is normal bbq'd meat.It was delicious!!

Raw Horse, was a little nervous at first, but it tasted amazing, will eat it any day.

haha i live colombia and they sell some pretty weird stuff here
in a sancocho they put almost every part of the cow or pig they dont let anyrhing got to waste
they sell fried cow toung yuckk!!
they also sell toasted ants big ones lol
one thing that grosses me out the most is that they sell rice with cow or pig blood stuffed in cow or pig intestines
i dont think i would try any of the 10 that are listed above
but i think that u eat what ur used to depends on where u were raised.

Why would anyone ever eat any of those things. I would puke if i ate anything like that. I would never eat it, but i'd puke just looking at it.

Ive had pig brains! my neighbor fried them and told me they were fried squash! they weren't really meaty! they were kinda chewy and i hated the texture! that wasn't the best thing I've ever eaten but i guess it was o.k!!!!!!!!!!!!

id so buy this only to see what they look like haha i would never never never eat it.
