Some were sexy, some demure, but to be sure, it was not your typical couture. No, it was the 7th Annual Paper Fashion Show 2011, held in Denver this past week where hundreds of paper couture designs showed up on gorgeous models who walked the runway... yes, dressed in paper.
Designers, who came from all walks of life, were mostly from the Denver area. All they needed was paper, a scissors, some glue, paint, and I'd say pretty much creativity. That commodity was not lacking, as you will see in the few images I've selected from the show.
I would have loved to see this entry in person!

If you're crafty, you have a whole year to prepare for the 8th Annual Paper Fashion Show. Anyone can submit an entry. And it's for a great cause.... This year the show was held as a benefit for the Downtown Aurora (Colorado) Visual Arts (DAVA), a local community organization that provides
after-school arts programs for at-risk youth.
