It’s that time again: the International Interior Design Association is accepting entries for the 41st Annual Interior Design Competition. If you are an architect or interior designer with some fantastic work completed after January 1st, 2012, you just might deserve an award!
40th Annual Interior Design Competition Winner - Louis Vutton Pop Up Store
The IDC is all about celebrating fantastic works and new ideas of interior design and architecture in over seven categories. Designers interested in winning one of the coveted awards can choose any of the following categories to showcase their master designs: Corporate, Government, Hospitality, Retail/Showroom, Cultural/Education/Institutional, Healthcare and Residential Spaces. A panel of judges will select the ultimate winners based on each design’s originality, sustainability and how well the interior’s furnishings and décor mesh with the space.

Not only do the winners receive a huge accolade by earning an award from the Interior Design Competition, but they’ll have the honor of receiving their award in person at the annual IIDA black-tie gala, COOL in Chicago, Illinois, and their superb works will be printed in the May 2014 issue of Interior Design magazine. Sure, it costs $275 per entry for IIDA non-members, but if you’ve made waves in the arts of interior design and/or architecture in 2012 or 2013, winning an award from the prestigious association would be well worth every dollar spent.
