Amari Design is the tuning arm of Amari Supercars and its first tune
proves that it doesn't plan on being one of those superficial tuner that
merely slaps a few carbon-fiber bits onto the exterior and interior.
The in-house tune work adds more than 225 horses to the Gallardo's
513-hp 5.0-liter V10 engine, upping output to a monstrous 740-hp. Amari
hasn't yet detailed exactly how it squeezed those extra horses out, nor
has it indicated exactly what that power increase will do to the
Gallardo's performance. But we can only imagine...
Complementing
the performance boost, Amari adds a full body kit that includes the
rather sickly looking front bumper fascia, carbon fiber front lip, front
fenders, side skirts, quarter panels, carbon fiber rear diffuser, carbon
fiber wing and stainless steel exhaust. Frankly, while there's no
arguing with the 740 ponies, we could live without a lot of the
ungainly body work.
Though there are no pictures of it yet, Amari does a lot of work inside as well. It adds carbon fiber racing
seats with Alcantara trim and carbon fiber trim around the cabin.
Customers will be able to select from an extensive palatte of trim
colors.
Amari plans to get the first prototype Invidia out this
spring. No word on how much this will cost buyers when it becomes
available, but we can imagine the price boost will be commensurate with
the power increase.
