A-DATA Waterproof HDD Offers You More Protection

Ever wanted to back-up your files on the deck of a chartered fishing boat? Or access a document in the middle of a late-summer torrential downpour? Probably not. However, the A-DATA SH93 would have you covered even if you did.The waterproof and shock-resistant hard disk drive is designed to keep your files safe in the most trying circumstances--the HDDs can be placed in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes, according to testing by A-DATA. 

Not impressed by the waterproof and shockproof qualities? On a more general storage note, you'll get to choose from 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB sizes. Each external hard drive also includes a USB cord that fits neatly into the side.

There's no word on pricing or availablity yet. However, if you're the type that frequently finds himself in the water or simply has a closet full of of coffee-stained pants due to frequent spills or, consider getting in line early. It will come in both the racing car yellow pictured above and chili pepper red.
