Design Of The A-FOLD Enhances The Benefits Of An iPad
Just think of how many iPads would have been sold by now if Apple had come out with something like the Grip and the A-Fold itself. Fortunately for iPad owners and for remaining sales of the iPad, some members of the design community are making the iPad more user-friendly: the Grip, which makes the iPad comfortably portable, and now the A-FOLD, a solid, multi-angled stand for the iPad.
I covered the Grip, a slip-in carrier with handle for the iPad, about a month ago, and think that was a fabulous idea by Colorware. Today's discovery is another missing link, a classy and sturdy stand for the iPad, created by Carl Magnusson Design, USA, called the A-FOLD.
This clever device will hold your iPad on your desk at home or on your meal tray, while in flight. What's more, it can change angles from 45 to 60 to 75 degrees (and even at 5 degrees!) to accommodate your reading or typing comfort. When not in use, it will fold flat, easy to slide in to a rack of books or stash in your on-board bag.
The aluminum A-FOLD has four non-slip rubber pads for iPad stability. With the A-FOLD and the Grip, I now will seriously consider buying an iPad!
