Aqua Creation Adds Apaya Sculptured Wool To Spectacular Lighting Collection

It's hard to keep up with Ayala Serfaty's designs.  In the year and a half since I covered just some of her sea-life inspired lighting designs, another half dozen collections have expanded interior and commercial lighting design possibilities with brilliant new lighting structures and fabric coverings.

In the Sculptured Wool Apaya Lighting Collection, Ms. Serfaty works with textile artist Irit Dulman to create woven Merino, Mohair, and pure silk lamp coverings.  The entire collection will premier at the Light+Building Fair in Frankfurt, Germany on April 10.  Here we have some pre-show photo releases.

Each Apaya Structured Wool Lighting design is handmade and one-of-a-kind, in shades of white with a variety of colors peppering the fabric.   Custom orders are accepted.
