A Bagel Slicing Technology? Meet The Not-Just-For-Bagels Bagelpod™

If you've never had a sandwich on a real New York bagel you haven't lived.  Fortunately, you don't have to live in New York anymore to get an authentic bagel; there are great bagel shops all over the country.  But bagels, like rolls, buns, muffins, scones, and other roundy breads, need to be cut through the center and as I know all too well, they don't stand up nice and straight so you can slice them easily.

I've seen bagel gadgets before, but the BagelPod does use a special patented technology, which makes nice clean slices without each side crumbling. The BagelPod uses two stainless steel serrated cutting blades to accomplish this feat once the pod is closed and the lever is pressed easily downward.

The really sharp blades are tucked away, however, when the BagelPod is open, so you cannot accidentally cut yourself with them as you are placing the bagel or roll inside. Then one press down of the lever and you're set to schmear!
