What are
Big Head Drink Coasters ?
Big Head Drink Coasters are designed for that special person who never does anything in a small way. These Big Head Drink Coasters stand at pink, beige, brown and blue attention, perpetually ready for the next tea or coffee break, and ask nothing from their users except that they use them. The Big Head Drink Coasters have “feet” and can be stacked or left lying down, whatever suits the fancy of whoever happens to own the Big Head Drink Coasters.
Who created Big Head Drink Coasters?
Big Head Drink CoastersThe brainchild of two brothers, Jamie and Mark, J-Me Original Design Company is focused on the challenge of combining “imagination with commercial design.” The Big Head Drink Coasters, which are manufactured using heat-resistant rubber, are molded in the form of girly figures with “enlarged heads,” which provide ample space for big fingers and big drinks. The Big Head Drink Coasters come on the ‘big head” wings of other successful
J-Me products, notably the Big Head His and Her Key Holders.
The Big Head Drink Coasters are available in packs of four and are dishwasher-proof (even if your dishwasher isn’t fond of coasters with big heads). Big Head Drink Coasters are the epitome of
J-Me Design Company’s mission to “create exceptional emotion and user interaction beyond the basic function of a product.”
Are Big Head Drink Coasters for you?
I don’t know.
How tall are you?
just another cutesy japanimation style design
Submitted on August 10th, 2008 by AnonymousI guess these coasters are kind of cute, but they really dont add anything to world of coaster design. The big heads simulate children, who are born with big heads, because humans inherently find infants cute, or whatever.
You can see on my own coaster page http://coasters.pebblez.com that I am more interested new materials, and actual style changes, rather than just another rubber gimmick
coasters
Submitted on August 11th, 2008 by M Dee DubroffIn all fariness, these bighead coasters may well be another rubber gimmick as you say, but isn't your post just another gimmick to plug yourself?

Submitted on October 6th, 2008 by AnonymousI guess it was kind of blatant advertising to put the url of my site in the comment. However I do stand by my response, the design is kind of ridiculous and useless. Not to mention ugly. Sorry for the spammy original comment, and thanks for your understanding
