A short while back, BMW brought us the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept, with no real hint as to whether or not it would see production. Now, it seems as though the Bavarian automaker has decided to move ahead with the sporty hybrid and is planning an introduction for 2013.
Just like the original concept, the production version of the Vision EfficientDynamics will feature a 3 cylinder turbocharged diesel motor and 2 smaller electric motors able to provide 356 horsepower and 590lb/ft. The diesel will be used mostly to provide power for the electric motors, but can also be used to provide extra thrust directly at the wheels when needed.
The only real changes being planned for the upcoming production series will be the exclusion of some synthetic glass. The engineers made this decision to provide additional space for more structural components.
BMW is currently only planning on building 10,000 examples of Vision EfficientDynamics.

I would buy this car only
I would buy this car only for it looks although I read few technical details about it and it has some pretty impressive technical features. I can only afford class b motorhomes for the moment so I think I'm gonna stick to that, they have multiple functionality and that's what I need now.
