Braun Silk-Epil Epilators are best known as razors which give women silky smooth legs for up to four weeks.
To inform the public of the product without using traditional advertising, helium balloons were tied to a model's skirt, leaving only her legs exposed as she walked around the mall. The Braun branding was written on the balloons.

While, as you can see in the picture, it is a little creepy looking, it definitely appeared to be entertaining and, apparently, effective. Traffic to the store increased around 25%.

The advertisers need to be careful about how many helium balloons they use since it wouldn't take many more to lift an 80-pound model into the air.
