Bridal Diapers: Designer Diapers For Brides To Be ?!

Those who have already worn a big white dress on their wedding day, know it's not always glamorous, at least not when nature calls. There's a new "fashion" trend that's been taking the world of wedding planning by storm, and it's one that addresses a basic, yet complicated need of brides and you won't believe what it is.

Historically, when nature calls during a wedding or reception, brides were forced into the uncomfortable situation of having their bridal party enter the restroom with them and hold up their gowns so they could take care of business. Now, to avoid that hassle, with fewer trips to the toilet so brides don't need to miss too much time on the dance floor at their reception, many bridal shops are selling bridal diapers. They're said to be "designer" but really, how different can they be from your typical adult diaper? That doesn't seem to matter though, as it seems many brides are willing to give it a try either for their ceremony, reception or both.

The things we sacrifice for fashion...

EDITOR'S NOTE: We tried to track down diapers designed for brides and they are no longer available for purchase. Adult diapers that could work best for brides include Tena's Protective Underwear which works better than many other brands of diapers for women and is generally less expensive. You can even buy one or two of them.

Wow...

I wouldn't want to get married wearing a diaper soaked in my own excrement. Just saying. Using the toilet might be difficult, but anything beats standing there in a moist diaper during the greatest day of your life. Wow...

Well duh...

The fix is simple. DON'T GET MARRIED! DUH!

The idea is...

...that you would at least have a way to pass a little pee without all of the hassle of getting the entire wedding party entourage into the bathroom. My wife sometimes has to pee 2-3 tmes in a half hour when she's nervous, and that's just after I announce that we're ready to get on the road to go for a drive somewhere. You laugh, but it's true!

For those that mention that you wouldn't want to be getting married with your panties full of poo, bridal diapers wouldn't be of much help anyway. If that's the nature call you are trying to prevent, you might need to try an enema beforehand. Nothing is gonna hide a pile of poo no how!

But seriously girls, where are your minds when you seem to feel that you could only envision taking a dump in a diaper? They are excellent absorbers of "wet stuff" like urine. You wouldn't know (nor would anyone else) that you were even wet with the new wick-away adult diapering products on the market. You're not rolling around in a puddle, but rather the pee gets absorbed into a gel preventing embarassing accidents. Try an adult pullup sometime (before the wedding...) and you'll realize they might save the day! As a matter of fact, don't pay exhorbitant dollars for bridal diapers when you can just buy adult pullups right off the shelf in your local pharmacy.

I wouldn't have any problem marrying a woman wearing one... But that's just me.

bridal diaper

my neice just got married last month at age 20 and had a big wedding, she wore a really poofy dress with a cloth diaper and adult plastic pants under it.she tried a disposable a few days before and she said it was itchy and gave her a mild rash.we pinned the diaper on her then she stepped into the plastic pants and pulled them up her legs.she said the diaper was hardly noticeable and she did have an accident in it as she slightly tripped walking down the aisle and got embarrassed.her flower girls were ages 5,8 and 10 and she had the three of them each also wear a cloth diaper and rhumba plastic pants under their dresses.

bridal diapers

I work in a bridal shop and over the last few years have had brides ask about bridal diapers. Most brides want to wear one as they are afraid of having an accident on their big day.they mostly ask about depends or other disposable products.i tell them it is their preference as to what they want to wear.I have had a few brides come in for their gown fittings with a cloth diaper and plastic pants on to see how they fit under the gown, but most wear a disposable diaper. Some of the brides who choose to wear a diaper teel me they are also having their flower girls and/or junior bride also wear a diaper under their dresses as well. One bride last june wore a disposable diaper with white plastic pants over it and had her three flower girls and junior bride all wear a cloth diaper with ruffled plastic pants over it.she told me the all three flower girls had accidents in their diapers and had to be changed afterwards.the bride also had an accident at the altar as she was extremely nervous.

bridal and flower girl diapers

hi,i want to comment on this subject.I have been to many weddings over the last few years and have seen brides wearing bridal diapers.i have also seen flower girls in diapers and ruffled plastic pants.i think it perfectly ok for brides to wear a diaper under their dresses.it is their big day and why spoil it by getting nervous and having an accident.the flower girls are diapered because they are more prone to wetting than the bride.i think the ruffled plastic pants over their diaper is just adorable.i feel all flower girls should be diapered under their dresses.the oldest flower girls i have seen were 14 and 13[cousins to each other] and they looked so cute, they were in top of the knee poofy dresses with lace anklets and patent leather shoes.they each had a flower wreath with veil.both girls had a cloth diaper on with ruffled plastic pants over it.the ruffles were pink with a white bow..they looked adorable and very little girlish.the bride had a disposable diaper on with plain white plastic pants on over it.i myself was a flower girl in a relatives wedding when i was eleven and wore a poofy dress with a flower wreath.i had white tights and slippers.my mom put a pair of baby print plastic pants on me when she dressed me that i wore under my tights.i felt really cute and girlish.

bridal diaper to symbolize infant purity

I know of a bride, one of my close friends, who is devout roman catholic and was brought up in a strict family and parish.her parish stressed abstinence and purity before marriage.her parish required the girls to wear the all white dresses and veils for first holy communion and confirmation.their white dresses were considered extensions of their baptism gowns they were baptized in as infants and they all had to wear a cloth diaper with plastic pants and white tights under their dresses to symbolize their purity of their baptisms. My friend was a virgin on her wedding day and wore her confirmation cloth diaper, plastic pants and white tights under her gown.she had a full veil that covered her face and her gown was beautiful.she symbolized her purity of her baptism for her husband that day.

Bridal Diapers

I wore disposable diapers on my wedding day as my "bridal diapers" earlier this year.

I had a large supply of size 6 Pampers on hand from my 3 year old daughter and though I am petite enough (102 lbs) for the diapers to tightly fit me, I decided I'd just use the compression of the panty portion of the pantyhose I'd be wearing to hold the diaper in place.

A couple of weeks before the wedding, I tried a "dry run" at home after work to test the idea. I already had some tan pantyhose on from work that day, I took a pampers and wrapped it around me then pulled my pantyhose top up and over it to hold it in place.

Wetting it the first time was really weird, at first I couldn't even tell I was peeing, but the Pampers did get heavy and sag down into my hose a bit - but I was totally dry. Into the Diaper Genie with that one and I put on another along with my skirt. No visible bulges under a normal skirt - I wet three more before bed that night with no issues.

On my wedding day I was very glad to have a diaper on and a supply of extra Pampers. I was SOO nervous I wet before the ceremony but with my mom's help was able to change into a fresh one. I think I used a total of four that night - my fancy white wedding pantyhose had a firm control top panty so no sags when wet and no leaks. I dumped my last Pampers in the hotel bathroom garbage can in a plastic bag - my new husband wasn't the wiser!

Wish I had

I had never heard of bridal diapers at the time of my wedding. It was a cold day and because of all the time taken in preparation by the time I got to the church I was really wanting to wee. I made it through the ceremony but when we came to the photos outside I was bursting, absolutely desperate. At a point where the photographer wanted just my husband and his family, I realised I had reached the point of no return. In desperation, I stepped onto the grass and that was it. I stood there, feet a little apart, and just wet my pants. Fortunately, when I had to sit down my dress and petticoats were so full that no wet mark from my soaking knickers showed through. No one knew what I had done but I still felt embarrassed though I don't suppose I was the first bride it had happened to.

Are you all for real?

I'm calling bogus on all of this. It seems to be a kind of urban legend started by a couple of diaper fetishists. (as does the off-topic comment about catholic traditions).

Lies, lies, lies

A: urban legend
B: to the pervert who tries to make it sound more common practice and who has written 99% of the post here, GET A LIFE. If you'll notice, this person tries to also talk about first communion diapers, bridal diapers, multiple people in either ceromonie also wearing them, cloth diapers, and the catholic faith. Not sure what it is but this person must get off on the fact that the posts may actually come true if enough people read this and are brainwashed into thinking this is normal and then do it.
DON'T BUY INTO THIS BS!!!
