Burger King Stuffs Its Steakhouse Burger
January 17 is not just the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday this year, it is the day Burger King has chosen to introduce its Stuffed Steakhouse Burger. This alone is in poor taste.
Just the word 'stuffed' makes me want to gag, but how are chopped cheddar cheese and jalapenos going to improve on a nice crispy grilled Whopper with Cheese? If we wanted to cook our cheese, pickles, onions, and ketchup in the burger, we would have stayed home and eaten meat loaf.
Burger King, you don't know your customers. We love the separate tastes of fired beef, and cheese, and tomato, and onion. A bit of ketchup, mayo... each flavor distinct to the taste. We are not at your joint to eat goulash.
One more 'beef.' You just can't use the word 'infused' to describe the process of mixing cheese and jalapeno with ground beef. You are only showing your ignorance of a type of cuisine that is anything but stuffing one food into another.
