Camcorder for Kids: LEGO Animation Station Video Camera

Visitors at the Nuremberg Toy Fair and Consumer Electronics Show were privy to a sneak peak at the upcoming LEGO Animation Station Video Camera.

The colorful cam will include a 1.4 LCD flip-out viewer, five-way navigation pad located on the back of the camera,  various buttons on the top and a detachable remote control.

The LEGO-inspired pieces do not actually come apart, alleviating the potential for accidental choking by youngsters.  The camera will also include PC software and a how-to manual. 

LEGO Camcorder

The camcorder is expected to be released  in the summer and will retail for under $80.
