The Banclock is a clock. It displays time and rings an alarm to wake you up.

But then, what is so cool or innovative about it?

And to make matters worse, the alarm can only be stopped if you feed the clock some coins.

Water-Safe Baby Carrier

With summer fast-approaching, visions of the dreaded heat and humidity press tightly on my mind, like a hot, wet cloth. Oppressive and uncomfortable, the Midwest summers can nearly kill you or at least obliterate any fun outdoors - especially for my family. We all dislike the heat. Staying at home with the kids, cooped up in the deliciousness of air-conditioning can only last too long. Boredom sets in. Quick as a wink, I'm out the door, having packed everyone up for an afternoon at the pool. I love the water; its blue wetness dazzling in the glaring sun. Watching the children swimming their hearts and summer away is amazing. I love to hear their ecstatic squeals of laughter echoing off the water.

10 Weird Handbags for the Manly Man

I don't know about you, but I am involved with a woman. That, by definition means that whenever she and I go out together, I somehow end up holding her purse. I don't know what it is with women and their purses. My lady can't go anywhere without it, but then tries to dump it on me every chance she gets.

Waiting around the mall this weekend bored out of my mind, I realised that I really I should be able to do something to make it more fun for a man to hold a woman's purse. I mean, if we men are going to end up holding the darn thing, shouldn't it be something we can have more fun with or at least not be mortified to be seen with?

So here are my picks for the 10 HandBags A Real Man Can Carry: read more »

Is Finger Regeneration Possible?

If salamanders can regenerate their limbs, deer their antlers and mice their hearts, then why can't people regenerate a lost limb too? Or can we? Scientists are looking into it. Brilliant's Invention Idea of the Week - Gas-o-Haul

Gas-o-HaulI think it's important for a car to have a container handy to hold extra gasoline or water in case of emergencies. But, the storage containers traditionally available to hold gasoline are usually huge and bulky and practically take up half the space in the trunk, leaving little room for anything else. So, although having a container around is something people should do, very few people actually do because it's impracticable.

Regular PizzaRegular PizzaDon't worry folks. At that price, you get the entire pie... not just a slice. Whew! That was a close one. Because there are eight slices to a pie and an $8,000 pizza would just be excessive. Don't you think?

Products That Help Jog Your Memory

Brain & Memory Fitness TrainerYou know the story about Chinese food, right? "The problem with Chinese food is that no matter how much you eat, in 20 minutes you're hungry again."

Have you heard this variant of the anecdote?

"I went to see the Chinese movie, Curse of the Golden Flower, but 20 minutes after I left the theatre, I forgot what it was about."

Or this one?

"We saw the film "The Banquet," and not only were we hungry 20 minutes later, but we had to see the movie again!

I used to laugh at these "jokes." Now... well, I'm a little sensitive about my memory. I can't seem to recall the names of movies, the stars, even the plots of movies I've seen recently...and these movies were not even Chinese!

Not only does it boast “two enclosed side storage spaces for organizing potty training supplies, and a pull-out drawer for easy sanitary clean-up," but it also has a "built-in toilet paper holder and a removable soft deflector shield." Close the lid and it becomes a stool that supports up to 300 pounds.

Yummy Gummy Chandelier

What struck me most about the gummy chandelier was that the maker must have hoarded gummy bears for years before having a large enough pool of raw material!
