Creativity Thrives in Asia – And It’s Copyrighted

Despite our gumption to stake our claim on original ideas, Korea and Japan still lead the way in actually developing these ideas and turning them into successes.

According to the latest international patent report, Asia (specifically Japan and Korea) are experiencing the most patent filings than any other area of the world. This shows that inventions and innovative ways of thinking are thriving in Northeast Asia and other Asian countries that are beginning to rise up in the world of technology and creativity. By the end of 2005 (when the last formal collection of data was completed), 5.6 million patents were active worldwide, 600,000 of these coming to be in one single year. The majority of these have continued to come out of Asia, a culture truly focused on electronic living and the progressive future.

We have witnessed a significant increase in the use of the patent system internationally in recent years," Dr. Kamil Idris, a Director General of the data findings has stated. "This is clearly one indicator of the level of inventiveness and innovation that is occurring around the world and signals those areas in which technological development is most pronounced.

Especially in North Korea , there has been a huge focus on technology, and the majority of this focus is made up of computer progression and invention. North Korea has stood strong as a determined leader in this market, and their economy thrives because of it.

In fact, the only nation speeding ahead of North Korea when it comes to filing innovation patents is the United States. Despite our gumption to stake our claim on original ideas, Korea and Japan still lead the way in actually developing these ideas and turning them into successes. If you want to follow the progress of the latest and greatest creations to come from the sharpest of human minds, you will find your best bet is to follow the activity of Asia – and look forward to enjoying the results.
