A kiss, a wink, an inviting smile... won't you stay on my page for a while? Cyberclone Japan's blog parts service provides bloggers with animated, interactive blog widgets featuring some of Japan's favorite media idols and celebrities.
Bloggers
know that keeping visitors on their pages is always a struggle. Now
Cyberclone has introduced a Blog Parts Service that
livens up websites and attracts attention - and often business - from
net-weary surfers.
"Blog Parts" were warmly embraced by Japanese bloggers when they debuted and the trend shows no sign of running out of steam. They're basically widgets that have an additional movement and interactivity component. Whether you have an established blog or are just starting a blog, put an interactive widget on your personal or business blog and you instantly add interest and, especially in Cyberclone's case, excitement.
Cyberclone's blog parts service allows bloggers to select from a varied menu of media idols and other celebrities - mostly female but not exclusively so. One of the available photo avatars is of a macho Australian Forest Officer. Well, each to his or her own!
As Cyberclone is a relatively new service, not all blogging software and/or platforms are supported so anyone starting a blog or considering blog marketing should keep that in mind. Google's translation of the explanation is somewhat amusing: "Currently, customers set up a blog at Blog Widget, is listed on the tag to your blog for the installation, please crucifixion. However, JavaScript tags that can be pasted in a blog is unavailable." Whoa, don't crucify me bro!
In
any case, Cyberclone's main page features the comeliest of the, um,
widgeteers - buxom Japanese starlet Aki Hoshino, who's flogging her
new DVD-ROM. If you visit Hoshino's official blog, by the way, you'll notice that she has one of Cyberclone's widgets - of herself - prominently placed.
Now let it be said that Hoshino is a true professional who knows how to "work it", and work it she does. Well, within the confines of the 4 possible actions her interactive widget allows: Smile, Kiss, another Smile, and Surprise. If you've never seen a woman smile using her entire body, then check out Aki's parts. Umm, blog parts that is.
Using one's cursor to poke, prod and otherwise provoke the bikini-clad Hoshino into a range of flirtatious smiles, winks and poses is almost hypnotic, almost addictive... you want to do it again, and again, and agai (slaps self). Whew, where was I?
Erm, I have a feeling that Cyberclone is on to something here. For more info on blog parts, Bloglue ranks the most popular widgets in Japan and as a bonus, the site is in English.
