Does Your Bed Need A Lift? Try The Mattress Genie!
My adjustable bed frame is very temperamental. For example, sometimes it only feels like raising one side of the bed, resulting in a very awkward angle for watching TV. Other times the bed has gone off by itself and my husband and I wake up in the middle of the night folded like sandwiches, staring at our legs.
But this Mattress Genie Bed Lift System by Contour looks like a winner at less than 10 percent the cost of an adjustable frame... and a lot less than the cost to have my adjustable frame adjusted!
The Genie comes with an air chamber, hose, pump, and wand control with night visibility. You slide the air chamber under the mattress, connect the hose to the pump, and plug in the pump. Once you are lying in bed and want to watch TV, for example, you just press the wand control and your Mattress Genie will pump you to just the right position. You control it!
Mattress Genie has a 2-stage turbine design with an automatic shut off button, to prevent overuse, like when kids are playing with it!. Once you plug the motor in, you only have to press the button on your control and your bed will rise up to a 40 degree angle in about a minute.
The lift chamber is made of a thick, durable polymer with double welded seams and internal baffling to provide strength. The king size Mattress Genie is said to raise as much as 1000 pounds.
The Mattress Genie is available in Twin, Full, Queen, and King sizes and it's compact and light enough to bring with you when you travel.
