Robert Frost once referred to education as the process of hanging around until you’ve caught on. Well, right or wrong, with the Fetal Educator Strap you can give your child an educational edge before the other kids on the block are even born! Patent# US 6840775 is in reality just a belt which holds a cassette player against the mom-to-be’s stomach. The belt has an interior and an exterior surface and on the outer surface, a pouch is mounted which contains a sound generator and a speaker. The speaker is directed toward the belt’s interior surface allowing the pouch to slide around the circumference of the belt to the user’s desired position.
In short, the Fetal Educator Strap is an apparatus for delivering sound to a fetus through a pregnant woman’s abdomen. The transmitters are connected to each other electronically via an audio plug, in a manner similar to commercial headphones.
Childbirth and motherhood have been wonderful creative sources for inventions since time immemorial.

As far as the Fetal Educator Strap is concerned, I think I will pass, as my time to have tried it long has. It would be an interesting study though, to monitor the growth of these children after they are born and note if they turn out any different than those not educated fetally, so to speak.
