Enliven Your Interiors with 'Clouds' Textile Tiles
From Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec comes a bold new concept in textile design, entitled 'Clouds'. Specifically for Danish manufacturer Kvadrat, these fabric tiles fold like origami along pre-creased lines to allow the user to create either three-dimensional hanging structures or add volume and texture to the topography of a wall. Each tile attaches to the others via special rubberbands, and can be repatterned and reconfigured as often as you like. Available in two different fabrics and seven colors, 'Clouds' allows users to create large-scale installations that add both vibrant color and texture to a space.
At the time of this post, 'Clouds' is only available through European outlets, with a starting price of 285 euros for a pack of eight tiles, and an additional 29 euros for the hanging system.
