You may be familiar with the precursor to the Omnidirectional Thigh Trainer which moves only vertically. Then there came the lateral-swinging thigh machine. Raised and operating from a bar with swinging ski-like foot bars, they are low-impact exercise machines.
Well, the "Omni" is equally low-impact, but it swings all ways. It gives you a great cardio workout, getting at all those ab muscles with its variety of leg exercises too. The Omni's digital display shows you just how many calories you're burning, your exercise time, and your stride count.
In the vertical direction, your legs swing, exercising your gluteal muscles, your quads and your calves.
Lateral movements exercise your abductor and adductor muscles on the outside and inside of your thighs.
The circular leg movements are a bit tougher, but really give your whole legs a workout. The machine moves in clockwise or counterclockwise directions.
The real heavy duty workout comes with the "alternating in/out forward/backward skating motion," which you will have to watch in the video below, as I couldn't possibly describe it!
