The Freeloader Keeps Parents On The Move When Little Legs Get Tired
The warm weather’s rolling in and that means that it’s a great time to get out for a walk or to go hiking. For parents of small children though, it can sometimes be tough to get out for much more than a quick stroll. Little legs get tired after not too long and a stroller’s not always convenient to take along. Fortunately, there’s an innovative new product with a very fitting name that may just be the answer to these issues. The Freeloader is a child carrier with a twist.
Unlike traditional carriers, which are made basically just for babies, the Freeloader can hold a child of up to 80 lbs. It fits on the adult like a backpack and has a lightweight, fold-down seat at the back. Five point safety straps hold the child securely in the seat and adjustable shoulder, waist and chest straps keep the weight evenly distributed for the adult. The frame of the Freeloader is aluminum, so it’s solid without being heavy. The pack on its own weighs only 6.8 lbs! Cushiony padding on the seat and back of the carrier keep the child comfortable.
