The Fujifilm FinePix Z300 digital camera is a 10-megapixel point-and-shoot beauty that features a 3-inch LCD touchscreen similar to the one on the iPhone. No need to click to take a pic, just point, touch and shoot!
Are click-to-shoot cameras about to go the way of the Dodo? They just might, if the new Fujifilm FinePix Z300 digital camera catches on.
Set for release on June 20, the FinePix Z300 has no button to push - instead, simply point at the 3-inch, iPhone like, LCD touchscreen to take your pictures.
Available in pink/gold, white pearl, purple or black, the FinePix Z300 offers a host of features including:
5.7x optical zoom
100 to 1600 ISO Speed
31Mb onboard internal memory
SD and SDHC card support
PictBridge photo printing support
automatic face detection for up to 10 individual faces
In addition to still images, the FinePix Z300 can record VGA video at 30fps along with mono WAV audio. All these features are presented in a very pretty package measuring 92mm (3.7 inches) wide, 56.5mm (2.25 inches) high and 18.5mm (3/4 inch) deep that weighs just 150 grams (about a third of a pound).
Available accessories include a rechargeable battery, battery charger and several attractively patterned soft carry cases. Though Fuji hasn't yet announced an official selling price rumors hint at a roughly $400 sticker, not bad for new tech! (via Slashgear and Let's Go Digital)
