Geek Speak Keyboard Keys Cup Set Restarts Your Meals

Control, Alt, Delete... sounds like a robot ordering from the local drive-thru. This cool yet geeky set of cups from Japanese design house Fu-Bi takes the classic "computer restart" command and brings it to the dinner table.

The plastic cups weigh 85 grams (about 3 oz.) each and measure 6cm wide by 8cm high (2.4 by 3.2 inches). Each cup can hold up to 150 ml (5 fl.oz.) of liquid and their interior surfaces contrast with the exteriors, a nice touch.

The plate that supports the cups weighs 95 grams (3.4 oz.) and is 27.5cm long by 10cm wide by 1cm thick, which for you non-metric types works out to 11 × 4 × 0.4 inches. The surface is embossed with a neato circuit board design.

Keep in mind, though, that both plate and cups are neither microwave nor dishwasher safe - sorry, convenience junkies.

The Ctrl + Alt + Del Keyboard Keys Cup Set comes in your choice of black or white - just like your computer keyboard. You don't have to use them for drinks, salads, appetizers or whatnot - Fu-Bi suggests they make great office desktop holders for staples, paper clips and so on.

Anyone still use paper clips... or paper, for that matter? Anyway, you'll probably want to leave the cups empty and upside-down to show off the geek-speak lettering, amiright?

The Fu-Bi website states the Ctrl + Alt + Del Keyboard Keys Cup Set costs 1,380 yen (about $15, very reasonable) but also that the set is currently sold out. Hopefully they'll have them back online, so to speak, ASAP. (Update: Amazon also has the Keyboard Cups.)
