It’s almost time for Japan’s answer to America’s E3- Are you ready for the Tokyo Game Show?
From September 19th through the 22nd, the Tokyo Game Show will be held at the Makuhari Messe convention center located in the Chiba district, where attendees will be able to get a first-hand look at the latest and greatest Japanese-centered videogames and technology. Although the first day of the three day event is closed to the public (press and industry only!), the remaining weekend will be open for everyone to try out the newest electronic goodies.
Some of the many exhibitors at this year’s TGS will include Microsoft Japan, SEGA, Namco-Bandai, Capcom, Mad Katz, Square Enix and may more. I’m especially interested in seeing the latest developments that Microsoft Japan will show off for my most anticipated game of the year, “Killer Instinct” by Double Helix and Rare, as well as the upcoming "Crimson Dragon." Who knows what these talented videogame developers have up their sleeves?
There will be tons of playable demos, beautiful presentations for upcoming games, fans dressed as favorite characters, plenty of exclusive merchandise to buy, as well as special sections dedicated to recruiting people interested into videogame-centered college programs, independently developed titles, smartphone titles, family friendly games and so much more. I’m sure that you’ll hear all about some of the biggest and brightest reveals to come from the event right here at InventorSpot.com, so stay tuned!
