Worried About Winter Germs? GetGloved And Kill Them Naturally

I don’t know about your neck of the woods, but where I live gloves are a winter staple (along with a big winter jacket, toque, scarf, boots... but that’s another story).  Winter gloves start out the season looking fresh and clean, but after a very short while they tend to end up looking pretty dirty and beat up.  In fact, if they are made of any of the typical knit materials they usually end up smelling like a wet dog too.

This is just the tip of the iceberg though, when it comes to the disgusting-ness of gloves.  Just think, if they look and smell that bad then there are likely a lot of horrible germs trapped in them, especially since they are most often worn during the height of cold and flu season.

GetGloved bamboo gloves sound like a great alternative to the usual old hand protection.  The organic bamboo material is said to be incredibly soft on the skin, eco-friendly, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and hypoallergenic.  The gloves come is sizes for men, women and children and are really for use at any time of the year when you want hand protection, as they are supposed to be quite lightweight and breathable.  The company also says that the protective properties last through many washings.  So instead of carrying around a little bottle of that drying hand sanitizer you could just whip out a pair of these and spare your skin.

Germs you are eating. Yuck!

There's E. coli on shopping carts, fecal matter on the lemon wedge in a glass of water, and when's the last time you saw someone clean a drinking fountain? We might as well drink out of the toilet.

It's disgusting!

The more I learn about the germs around us, the more freaked out I get.
