Get Ready For Winter Sports With VoltoPrima™ Gloves

Skiing, sledding, snowboarding... all great winter sports. But when your hands get numb, you have to call it quits for the day. And then, of course, there's the sport of shoveling snow.... The new PrimoVolta gloves by Aevex® Products with patented Intelligent Heat™ promise to keep your hands warm for up to six hours just by turning on a switch.

The heat within the glove is not constant; as your hands become warm, the heated fabric turns off. You can also turn the heat off with a switch on the outside of the glove, or you can remove a layer of the glove, either the inner shell or the outer insulated nylon portion of the glove. This is the PrimoVolta's inner shell, a breathable, waterproof Gore-Tex® insert.

Heated gloves are not new, but Aevex's heat film is embedded a layer of textile among other thin layers of material that provide insulation.

This thermal image of the PrimoVolta gloves demonstrate the pattern of heat intensity in the gloves.

The PrimoVolta gloves are available for men and women and are priced at $259 per pair including, of course, the battery. One great feature of these gloves, according to Aevex, is that you can manipulate the fingers of the glove even enough to pull up a zipper on your clothing!

I'd buy those if it weren't

I'd buy those if it weren't for the price tag...but do they make something for your feet? Cold feet are the worst part of winter sports, in my opinion!
