Who doesn't like a little bit of gold? In North America we might only dream about seeing gold bars coming out of a vending machine, but in one exotic international location, it is a reality.

Abu Dhabi is one of the most prestigious cities in the world so it doesn't come as a big surprise that they'd decide to try an entirely new concept by introducing a gold vending machine. The reality is that the vending machines are actually ATMs which are designed to dispense gold bars. With the uncertainty of the economy and fluctuating money market, this international country is hoping to replace the use of paper and coin currency with something that will make every resident feel like Ebeneezer Scrooge.
