Green Man USB Memory Flash Drive Has a Head for Data

"Bend me, shape me, any way you want me..." The Green Man USB Memory seems to have taken a page from the 1967 pop music hit by The American Breed. In actual fact, his real name is Midori Otoko - a straight translation from Japanese and a prime indication of where he hails from.

I say "he", because the Green Man seems to evoke the impression he's not just an object. No matter that you have to remove his head in order to plug the memory into your computer, he doesn't seem to mind and besides, you're both saving important data.

Even better, while the Green Man's roly-poly noggin is being filled you can pass the time bending and twisting his bright green body. He doesn't care, and you get work out some stress in the bargain.

As far as specs go, the Green Man uses the common USB 2.0 interface with backwards compatibility down to USB 1.1, and his head will hold up to 2 gigabytes of data. He works well with Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS X 10.2 which should cover most computer users.

If you want a Green Man USB memory of your very own, and you know you do, he's available online from GeekStuff4You for just 2,400 yen (about $26) plus shipping. (via Tech Chee)
