Can A Kerchief Save Lives?

Death can come at any time, someone can shoot you, a stray bullet can find you...the possibilities are as gruesome as they are endless.

Sruli Recht has come up with the idea of a limited edition, gentleman's pocket handkerchief, which when nattily tucked into the breast pocket of a blazer or jacket bullet. The product is called 'The Damned', which somehow conjures up fancy images in my mind...

The Kevlar handkerchief is being sold at Iceland's Liborious boutique and is described as:

"The Bullet-proof Handkerchief
For the Promiscuous Idealist whom
Lives in Elegant Danger"

And in case people get the idea that the product is more than just another novelty piece, there is a disclaimer which proclaims, "The store and designer take NO responsibility for schmucks and wooden-heads who feel compelled to test the endurance or resistance of the textile in any way."

So, just as I was beginning to make up my mind to order one of these, I realized that it's all probably a gimmick...
