Honey, Did You Recycle The High Chair? - Belkiz High Chair

If you have a baby you know that while they take up very little space themselves, their stuff all but consumes your entire house.  It is absolutely mind boggling that someone so small should require so many accessories.  Not to mention that when you go anywhere you have to pack a large portion of these items and take them along with you.  To top it all off, a lot of these things are big...really big!  How do you pack them all into the car?  No wonder mini vans and SUVs are so popular with parents.

Well it may not help in your own home, but for packing there is a great new item heading our way.  Australian, Belkiz has created a recyclable, cardboard feeding chair.  Amazing as it may sound, this chair is meant to hold babies and toddlers up to 44 lbs.  Much like a cardboard box, the chair can be folded down flat when not in use, so it takes up very little space.  At about 4.4 lbs, it is also very lightweight and easy to carry, especially compared to conventional feeding chairs.

The chair is constructed with safety in mind too.  It has a polypropylene three point harness, a non-toxic coating that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and water-based ink decor.

This chair is not meant for everyday use, but would be great to take along on trips, out to restaurants or to leave at family members’ houses to use when visiting.  At least it is one large item off the list.

That's an interesting idea

That's an interesting idea and what I like about it is that it's sustainable too. A little creativity can lead to great results. The only thing you should be concerned about is to just put the cardboard to the cardboard trash bin when you're done with it, that's what we do in our community. The junk removal Vancouver provided trash bins for many types of materials, this makes recycling so easy.
