An octopus could easily handle my grocery bags, but one would certainly cause concern in my local market. Octopuses are terrible kleptomaniacs. But thanks to the Hook and Go people in San Francisco, I'm going to can the octopus.
Hook and Go is your cephelopod on wheels, and it's much more streamlined. Much like a travel cart in concept, the Hook and Go is designed for convenience and ergonomics. It weighs only 7 pounds, but can hold up to 10 times its weight in groceries or other goodies which can be hung from one of eight spokes. (I told you it was related to an octopus!)

For ecology's sake, please bring re-usable shopping bags!

Plastic bags
Submitted on September 21st, 2008 by TobyThanks for your comment. Plastic bags work fine on the Hook and Go, but don't over pack them. Or, better yet, skip the plastic bag and bring your own reusable bag!
