Matt Hallock has come up with a strategy to building your own fisheye lens for cheap. By venturing through a hardware store, Hallock was able to piece different parts together to make a lens that was compatible with his Nikon D-50 model.
For the project, the inventor used a coupling, a ¾ inch pipe and a door viewer. By connecting each piece, he was able to create a custom fisheye lens that gets you 90 per cent of the original special effect.
