Got Eggs? Their Perfect Shape Inspires Egg Designs For The Home

In case you missed the yearly unveiling of the eggs, the Le Uova de Leon collection is still getting its seasoning in the news.  So, I thought I would give you a few fun moments with photos from the egg collection, a series of playful, colorful, exciting, and terribly creative interior design renditions from Italian architect Valentina Audrito.

Le Uova de Leon is Audrito's homage to the humble, but perfect, egg.  I can't think of any food more honored in interior design, nor any so novel in contour and technology.  The only thing missing is an egg-shaped home to contain these delightful items.

First, the fluffy egg pillows in the egg bowl.

You can achieve your lighting source from the top of the egg, à la soft boiled, or from the center, à la deviled eggs. Below, the cleverly named 'Standing Ovation."
