You can already get all over-jocked on just about every sport known to man with a multitude of available Wii accessories. Now you can add the prep school sport of choice to the mix: rowing.
CTA, maker of all kinds of odd Wii sports peripherals that are fun for a solid day or two, has introduced a rowing machine that is "very similar" to a rowing machine you would find at the gym. In fact, it's so similar that the rubes in the informercial say "there's no need for a pricey gym membership." Unless of course, you actually want to get into shape after you tire of your virtual row boat.
All sarcasm aside, the accessory connects to the Wii remote and lets you add some realism by holding onto the pull bar, strapping your feet down and physically rowing your boat. It works with games like Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus and includes a tension knob to adjust your workout.
You can find this rowing accessory at Amazon for $35. For more info, drop to the video below.
