A Leg Up On Mealtime Booster Seats

KABOOST is a snap-on, portable, heavy-duty plastic booster that elevates most four-legged kitchen and dining room chairs so kids can sit at the table just like grown-ups.

The booster's spring-loaded arms are designed to firmly grip chair legs, keeping KABOOST attached even when the chair is moved or repositioned.

No-slip rubberized feet protect flooring surfaces and a choice of two height positions (just flip it over) allows parents to adjust the seat as their kid grows.

The company even goes so far as to suggest that KABOOST might improve Junior's self-esteem, as he starts to feel more a part of the family! That may be a stretch, but I love the idea of the product anyway.

This product is perfect for those who don't want to add yet another piece of baby gear to their home. For this reason, it's great on saving space. Heck, buy a few more if you expect to feed more kids at your house.

KABOOST is recommended for ages 20 months to 6 years, and can hold up to 300 pounds. KABOOST is available in green, charcoal, chocolate and natural for $39.95 by visiting kaboost.com. (Update: This product is no longer available.)

"Most" Four-Legged Chairs

I doubt that it would fit MOST chairs. It probably is similar to the EZT4U attachments, which ended up requiring perhaps 7-8 sizes to accommodate existing coffee pots. (My dining room chairs have a bar across the center which probably would NOT fit over the "bubble" in the center of the booster.) I guess if you happen to have chairs like the one pictured, the booster is an okay idea, but little kids would still need help getting into the chair and would have a longer fall to contend with.

agree, it's not practical

It's an idea, yet it's not better than those booster with two strips to tight down. It raise center of gravity. harder to fit Doesn't provide side support to child.

my friend was abale to get one of these at a pre-launch trade show. i saw Kaboost in action and this thing fits almost any 4-legged chair. it snaps on in seconds and even makes the chair more stable. the increased base of the chair actually compensates for any increase in center of gravity. his kids simply love it. i wish i thought of it.

Actually Very Useful

We have a couple of these as permanent fixtures in the dining room and we've found them to be perfect for our 5 and 8 year olds.
