If you loved Legos as a kid, you probably never let go of that cool feeling of finishing a creation that was all your own idea. That's what made Legos so popular! In an effort to find out more about what makes Lego lovers get that moment where your ideas just "click" together, Lego has introduced a new website to bring clicky thinkers together.
The site takes a little while to load, but you can watch the progress through the little cloud puffs coming out of the factory if you like. Once you're in, it will greet you like the genius that you are and show you some of the recent and popular stuff that's been going on at LegoClick. There's also a short film about the "aha" moments that all inventors and Lego fans experience at one point or another, and is definitely worth a look.
If you sign in with your Twitter account, you can tweet about cool pictures, video, and articles that you find on the site, and they give you a little Jetman to accompany you on your journey through the site. Unfortunately, he doesn't really do anything else besides get you connected to Twitter. All the same, I took him up on his offer if only because I love sharing stuff via my Twitter account.
The whole point of the site is to connect you with people who are inspired or think creatively, and have a moment of brilliance when they see their ideas brought to life. LegoClick also is about branding, so there's a good amount of Lego-related material. Fortunately, Legos are awesome, and most of the media is fun to watch. Go feel creative and constructive for a while on LegoClick, and let us know how you feel about it in the comments.
