Summer is on its way and with it comes that perennial problem of
hot and sweaty feet while dressed for success. These days businessmen in
Japan can keep their cool on the job with air conditioned dress

The shoes come in a wide range of colors -- brown and black. The
footwear can be found in the best-seller section of a prominent shoe
store in Tokyo.
The shoes by Hydro-Tech are called Cool Breeze and are supposed to help men get though the hot and humid summers for which Tokyo is known (120%!!!).
The footwear does not run actual "air conditioners," but employs a new filter technology that releases the heat and humidity from the shoe while bringing fresh air in to keep the feet feeling comfortable and dry.
The shoes cost about 7,245 yen ($78.00/U.S.). You can shop for the shoes on the Chiyoda website, if you read Japanese.
