The Lifesaving Frisbee - Should it have moved forward?

thelifelinefrisbee There's been a lively debate here at INVENTOR SPOT and across the web about many of the inventions that didn't move on. One of which, was the lifesaving frisbee. Will we see more of the same this week on EPISODE 4, where ideas that could be polished and then evaluated get the NO vote? Whether you like it or hate it, don't you wonder why this got dinged but a double layered pit dish moved on? I pulled this from the Forums Take a read... and comment.

ResQDisk Submitted by Michael Cha (not verified) on Mon, 2006-04-03 00:43. Hey guys, I am the inventor of the Frisbee based rescue device. I like to thank all of you for your support. A lot of my presentation that explains the buoyancy issue was omitted from the show. Please check out my web site to get the full story of the invention. Go to MichaelCha.com or ResQDisk. Thanks.

frisbee

that is an excellent idea, the only thing i can see wrong is that it's not something that would sell on a regular basis in a retail store.

seems like a great idea

but my question is how does it do in windy situations. if its light like a frisbee, would it just blow away if a strong wind came along. that would be so sad if you were drowning and thought you were about to be rescued... here comes the resqdisk... oh, no a strong wind ... the resqdisk is blown away. sorry drowing person ... we will have to wait for a less windy day.
