My Name is Mud, Super Sexy Mud. GlamGlow Mud to be Exact

When I was told to try GlamGlow Tingling & Exfoliating Mud Mask, honestly my first thought was "Mon dieu! Another mud mask!  There’s nothing exciting or sexy about mud… or is there?" This luxurious black box GlamGlow Tingling and Exfoliating Mud MaskGlamGlow Tingling and Exfoliating Mud Maskoutlined in silver looks like something secretive that only the cognoscenti would use.  Upon opening the box you’ll notice one side flap says “Hello” and the other side flap says “Sexy.”  Well, hello yourself!

GlamGlow Tingling and Exfoliating Mud Mask contains no artificial colors, no artificial fragrances and is 99% paraben-free. Some of the ingredients include volcanic rock, volcanic mineral ash, French sea clay, purified clay, real pieces of green tea leaf, green tea seed oil, grape seed, chamomile flower, marigold flower, cucumber, ivy, lavender oil, pumice and camellia sinensis leaf. It's natural and used on all skin types and I was ready to dive in.

Taking off the lid of the silver and black jar you’re met with an amazing fragrance.  It smells like riding along in a convertible, top down in the Cote d’Azur leaving Monaco en route to Cannes – well, at least how I imagine that smells.  It does smell decadent and clean. GlamGlow states you should use this mud mask made of volcanic rock, French sea clay and green tea leaf pieces for “Super Sexy Super Radiant Skin” and so I did.

At first as I put it on, I thought it was clumping but on closer inspection the little dark pieWhat GlamGlow Mud Mask Looks LikeWhat GlamGlow Mud Mask Looks Likeces were really green tea. The mud mask goes on easily and is dark gray.  After about a minute I started to feel it tingling and I was a bit concerned but the feeling subsided quickly.  Minutes later my mask had turned a light charcoal gray and I felt it tightening around my face.  The smell, while not overpowering, made me forget I was wearing “mud” and I began imagining how it would feel to have GlamGlow as a full body mud wrap.  I bet the volcanic pumice rock known for its antioxidants and minerals would do wonders for a tired body.

The mask washed off easily and I was left with skin that felt as smooth as a wet china cup. My face was exfoliated yet it had not dried out my skin like I thought it would.  No redness or sensitive areas.  I’m not sure if GlamGlow’s “moisturizing collagen synthesis” did what it was supposed to do but I did think my skin looked more radiant. Plus, now I’m ready for St Tropez so I can test out those wonderful smells.

You can buy Glam Glow Mud at Neiman Marcus or on Amazon.
