Nothing Dumb About This Fitness Invention

When you're going to do a workout, a water bottle can be very annoying. If you’re using a bottle that you filled up at home and kept in your fridge, then beware. The one thing I find is that as your workout progresses, the water bottle’s label starts to deteriorate. This can be a problem especially if you’re doing a non-stop exercise on a treadmill or elliptical trainer. To solve such issues, one designer has come up with an invention that stores your liquids in a convenient plastic form.

The latest idea from Jin Le is specifically aimed at those who visit the gym often. Looking like a deformed bottle, the Dumbell Sports Drink is designed to keep you hydrated as well as give you a small workout. But the idea of the minuscule exercise is the problem.

Despite being a great concept, the Dumbell Sports Drink only weighs 0.5 kg. Unless you’re a true weakling, 0.5 kg isn’t going to do much for your muscles. To make the invention better, the bottle should weigh around 3-5 pounds. Sure this isn’t a big step from the previous size, but it’s definitely more effective because it will actually workout your arms.

well

either add weight on the handle or find some other way to stick more weight on. Dunno if that is safe for the hands and arms though.

Ugh

There's nothing I hat more than women who lift tiny amounts of weight. They think they're going to be huge anabolic monsters if they lift big and eat three square meals a day. I've got three words for them: I FREAKING WISH!
