Nuemann Unveils Old Microphone With New Sound

To go along with its 80th anniversary, Neumann has revealed its newest microphone that’s based on an older model.

The TLM 67 features a design that’s similar to the look and feel of the 1960s’ model, the U67. While retaining a classic look, the studio microphone shares the TLM aspect of other recent designs. The new circuit design helps the microphone reproduce the sound characteristics of the classic U67, without the use of tubes.

The TLM 67 is also extremely versatile as it has three switchable directional characteristics: omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-8 . Due to its extensive control features, the microphone is suitable for a variety of applications. It can be used as vocal microphone for all types of music, instruments and can be used for a spoken voice.

The most noticeable aspect of the studio microphone is its appearance. The pearl-gray colour and classic Neumann nickel gives the TLM 67 a nostalgic look and a sense of individuality. With such a unique style, the Neumann TLM 67 just may influence you to croon like a 60s music star in the studio.
