Panasonic Beard Trimmer Adjusts Your Stubble Without Any Trouble

Maintaining that perfect three-day stubble isn't as easy as one might think - it only looks "just right" on the third day, then you have to start all over again. Now thanks to the new Panasonic ER223P beard trimmer, cool dude wannabes can dial in the exact amount of suave, er, stubble, every morning.

The unique design of the trimmer allows the user to adjust their optimum beard length from 1mm to 20mm (4/5 of an inch). As well, one can shift on the fly, so to speak, resulting in varying lengths of stubble on various portions of the face. A barber can do it for you but they may only have 2 or 3 shaver heads on hand - the ER223P gives you what is effect 14!

Trimming sideburns is a cinch as well since the trimmer includes an attachment that allows for sharp-edged, straight lines. The kit also includes a cleaning brush but you might never use it: the ER223P is designed to rinse clean after each use.

Naturally you won't want a power cord on a washable shaver and the ER223P doesn't have one, except for charging the internal nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. No secret to NiMH either as a full charge is achieved in 8 hours. Once charged up, the user can shave 5 times with each shave taking about 10 minutes.

The Panasonic ER223P can be bought at Amazon Japan for 7,157 yen (about $80), which is relatively cheap for a Japanese-market electric shaver. (via Impress Watch)
