Ah, the paperclip. Surely, its top-ranking position in the world of office fasteners is unrivaled - only the unattractive staple could possibly compete. What would we do without these prolific beasts of burden? What did life even look like before these handy little metal wires? We take them so for granted, but really, they are everywhere, serving us every day. Open nearly any household drawer and my bet is that you can find at least one, hanging out waiting for something to do.

Finally, the lowly little paperclip has reached an exalted position -- it has evolved into a hardier, more distinguished form. It has transformed into a pliable, functional LED lamp.

Though not yet in its production phase, the paperclip lamp holds great promise for the future of paperclips everywhere. We all need something to strive for, you know. Now if only the staple would catch up.
