Post-Coital Tweets

Show me your tweets!

Looks like with the decline of smoking in the US, Twitter has taken the place of lighting up after doing the horizontal mambo! If you do tweet after sex, you're in good company. As a new study by Retrovo indicates, 36% of men and women under the age of 35 often resort to social media after sex, giving a whole new meaning to "show me your tweets!"

Moreover men are twice as likely to exhibit this behavior than women, and if you're an iPhone user, you're three times more likely to tweet or update your status on Facebook than a Blackberry owner. Apparently being a "crackberry addict" is enough of an addiction in and of itself.

In addition to the dirty deed, social networking was also associated with other activities including "while driving," "at work," "on a date," and "on vacation," as this chart illustrates.

So is Twitter the new cigarette? Is it the first thing you reach for to calm yourself down, after that bout of heavy-breathing? Take our POST-COITAL POLL and let us know your position on the matter? No, not sexual position!... your opinion, please!
