Sample Marketing Comes To Japan Coffee Shop LCAFE!

When you walk into your local coffee shop or café, at best, the only freebies you'll get are the chocolate toppings or other spices available at the station where you have to lid your own drink. Well, not anymore; at least, not if you live in Japan and plan on frequenting LCAFE.

LCAFELCAFE

To participate in LCAFE's sample program, women in their 20 and 30s must register via mobile phone, providing all requested information about their interests and dislikes. Once registered, every time they go into the coffee shop for their morning pick me up, they receive an L Coin which allows them to pick up a specific sample from the sample bar also onsite in the café. Products being tested are everything from food and drink, to skincare products to technology, and the café often has brands take over their décor by providing napkins and other elements to help recruit new clients!

With so many big chain cafes out there, the little guys need to take big steps in order to compete, and by trying another big trend in marketing, they're colliding two very different niches in a creative way that's already attracting attention, and most importantly, customers to help expand their empire!
