Save Money and Make Your Own Mush!

Baby food can be expensive and lack quality nutrition, which is why American parents are catching on to a European trend worth investing in.

If you approach a new parent with the idea of making their own baby food, chances are they will laugh at you all the way back to reality. However, the Beaba Babycook, a French invention now available at American stores, is making homemade baby food a convenient reality.

Homemade Baby Food is SimpleHomemade Baby Food is Simple

Grocery totals are quickly hiked up when you add in all of those tiny jars of strained fruit and veggies, and the truth of the matter is the nutritional value in many of them is marginal at best. The Beaba Babycook can save you money, while also increasing your family’s health quotient. If you are going green, the cooker also makes it easier to stick to organic cuisine.

The super compact unit is capable of steaming vegetable, fruit, meat, and even fish in 15 minutes, which helps the food to retain its nutrients and flavor. You can then puree things into your desired consistency and feed to baby in no time flat.

The Beaba Babycook is just one of the many ingenious inventions to come out of Europe, so keep your eye out for future breakthroughs. Until then, you can purchase your own cooker at Williams-Sonoma .

It’s one of those things I’d like to see other people using first before I used it but I think it’s got potential to be big

trouble is

it's made of polycarbonate!

big problem - not safe for babies!

Manufacturer has no plans to switch to BPA-free plastic for bowls. Too bad, looks like a great product, but it's a big problem with your key functionality is HEATING and your product is made of plastic that leeches chemicals WHEN HEATED. Hmmmmm....

Yeah polycarbonate is a

Yeah polycarbonate is a problem - why don't they just make it from glass like a pro blender?

Also, they French did not invent making your own baby food - we Americans have been doing it forever - ever hear of Mommy Made & Daddy Too? Written in and by an American author and her husband. They even teach a popular class in NYC - I took it eleven years ago for my first baby and guess what? They're still teaching it!!

Um - I think France has just

Um - I think France has just been there a lot longer than America - so they probably did make their own baby food before you guys. Forever is a lot longer than 200 years.
You Americans eat sooo much shit I'm amazed your worried about a bit of plastic.
