Self-Weighing Suitcase Lightens The Load On Your Wallet

Self-weighing luggage is one of those things travelers have often wished for, and now the concept has become a reality. No longer do travelers have to guess their suitcases' weight like some sort of sideshow attraction, and the integral weigh scale negates the need to find (and perhaps break) an outside scale.

This suitcase really earns its keep on return trips when luggage that passed muster outbound often bulges with heavy gifts and souvenirs.

The self-weighing feature is extremely unobtrusive, as all you see is a small LCD screen placed in the protected area near the case's handle. Though made in the UK, the case is designed to display weight figures in metric (kg) or avoirdupois (pound) at the mere touch of a button.

The sturdily built case is covered in durable 600 denier polyester and is lined throughout. The case offers 3 external zipped compartments and 3 internal compartments, 1 of which is zipped mesh and the other 2 elasticated. Other notable features include an expandable top, hidden name ID plate, built-in wheels and a convenient pull-out trolley handle. The case (including the top, handle and wheels) measures 25½" tall x 15¾" deep.

Expert Verdict is running a promotion on these self-weighing suitcases: Buy the suitcase and receive a FREE 12" x 10" x 7" matching carry-on bag with adjustable shoulder strap, zip-up front pouch and sleeve for attaching to the trolley case handle. Yours for just £69.95 ($105) at the Expert Verdict website. (via Gigazine)
