Share What’s In You’re Working On, Win Mega Tool Set Via Instructables Workshop Contest!

This might just be Instructables most open ended contest to date, but if you’re tinkering with something brilliant, and you can share how others can make their own version of it, you could win a huge supply of high end tools from Hand-Eye Supply for sharing!

You know that cool DIY project that you’ve been working on for the past few weeks? It’s time to wrap it up, and then show other workshop warriors how to build it for themselves with an easy to follow photo or video guide. The top projects will be selected by the Instructables community and judges, so do your best to leave a good impression for your invention! That said, there is a special side contest where Hand-Eye Supply will give a bonus Judges' Prize for the best handmade tool, so if you know how to make an especially handy tool, don’t hesitate to share with us!

Whoever provides the greatest guide for their current workshop project will earn themselves the Grand Prize: a mammoth-sized Gedore Tool Assortment (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers- the works!), Hand-Eye Supply 16" Canvas Tool Bag, t-shirt and an Instructables prize pack. Don’t worry if your recent workshop experiments don’t quite live up to the inevitable DIY invisibility cloaks and portals to Mars, because Instructables is giving out plenty of great things to the three Frist Place and eight runner up winners too. With the limitations for entering at an all-time low, there are already tons of incredible projects in the running, such as “Iron Man From Soda Can” (by jazephua) and the “Leaf Plow for Zero Turn Mower” (by marple200).

No matter what kind of project that you’ve sealed yourself away with, it’s time to share it with the world and upgrade your entire tool kit with Instructables’ Workshop Contest. Just don’t forget to upload your project’s guide onto Instructables before the January 20th 2014 cutoff date (click here to enter!) and have fun, Workshoppers!
