I love shoes, though as a freelance writer and stay-at-home mom I don’t get many chances to wear anything fancy these days. There are a lot of women out there who do though and it can be incredibly frustrating to be caught in a rainstorm when you are wearing some fabulous footwear. With spring showers right around the corner it is something to think about.
So what can you do about it? Well, you can move to the desert (but your heels will just get stuck in the sand). You can carry an emergency pair of boots with you in case you need to change, but that is bulky and time consuming. A third option is to keep Shuella in your purse or desk.
Shuella is super portable, waterproof footwear protection. The company calls them umbrellas for your shoes. I have to say that for foldable rain boots they are actually pretty cute! They come in several bright colors – and black. They look to be pretty easy to use; you just slip them on over your shoes and close the flaps.
They are said to be very durable and have a slip-free sole. There is also a carrying case included and a cloth to wipe them down before stashing them away again. Sounds like a great idea!
